Bracknell Film Society Summer Lunch

Members and guests at the BFS Summer Lunch

 Bracknell Film Society held its annual Summer Lunch in the Garden Room at South Hill Park on Sunday, 20^th July 2025. The event was organised by former Vice Chair, David Maxwell and Membership Secretary, Shelagh Barnett, with food and service provided by onsite caterers, Peas & Carrots.

The afternoon unfolded in a warm and convivial atmosphere, as guests gathered amidst the summer blooms and sunlight streaming through the elegant windows of the Garden Room.

A delicious array of seasonal dishes was enjoyed by all, with the tables adorned with Shelagh Barnett’s charming floral arrangements that added a festive and colourful touch to the occasion.

Members and guests were also delighted to welcome to the event our former Chair and Life Member, Julia Vickers who continues her active support of the Society through her ongoing association with the South Hill Park cinema.

As the lunch drew to a close, our Chair, Pam Firth offered heartfelt thanks to the organisers and attendees, expressing gratitude for the ongoing spirit of friendship and shared love of cinema that defines Bracknell Film Society.
