Two sisters take a coach trip to Paris. The elder, Inger (Sofie Grabol), lives with schizophrenia in a psychiatric clinic where she receives care from staff and coddling from her mother. The younger, Ellen (Lene Maria Christensen), sees the trip as a chance to bond with her sister, whom she believes could benefit from more independence.
Gråbøl is superb throughout, recognising Inger as a complicated individual who has a lot more going on than just her illness, yet who is constantly burdened by it and forced to plan around it nonetheless. EYE FOR FILM
