At a young age, Monica was kicked out of her home by her mother. Now she lives alone, working as a masseuse by day and a video sex worker by night, and dealing with the pain of an absentee lover. Then her sister-in-law invites Monica home to visit her sick mother, but when she gets there her mother no longer knows who she is.
